The shell is constructed from Japanese nylon — a tightly woven, matte-finish fabric with a subtle textural hand feel that distinguishes it immediately from standard bomber jackets.
Inside, a full silk charmeuse lining in deep burgundy provides both tactile luxury and a deliberate contrast to the jacket's blacked-out exterior. Every zipper is Swiss-made Riri hardware — the same components used by Hermès and Saint Laurent.
The filling uses a proprietary mix of recycled synthetic insulation that provides warmth without the bulk that typically undermines the bomber's clean lines. Ribbed cuffs and hem are knitted from a cotton-elastane blend for resilience without pilling.

Incredible details, runs slightly large
The material quality on this bomber is extraordinary. You can feel the difference from the moment you unbox it. The silk lining is a gorgeous wine-red — a lovely surprise when you open the jacket. The Riri zippers are incredibly smooth. My only note: it runs slightly wider than expected. I normally wear L but could have gone M. Size down if you want a closer fit. Otherwise, superb.
Best bomber I've ever owned
I collect bombers. Not casually — I have about fifteen, from Alpha Industries to Saint Laurent. The Phantom sits in the top three easily. The Japanese nylon has a dry, matte hand that's completely different from standard nylon. It doesn't look cheap or shiny. The construction is tight and clean. The silk lining is a genuinely luxurious touch. Very impressed with NWARE.
