The cropped cut sits precisely at the hip bone, creating a silhouette that works equally over a tailored trouser or a pair of relaxed-fit denim. Contrast press studs in brushed nickel add subtle metallic detailing.

A varsity jacket for grown-ups
Finally, a varsity jacket that doesn't look like it belongs in a frat house. The leather sleeves are buttery soft, clearly full-grain, and the boiled wool body has real heft to it. The cropped length is perfect for my proportions. The cognac leather and cream wool combination is particularly beautiful. Would love to see more colour options in future drops.
Premium materials, premium price — but worth it
I deliberated for weeks before pulling the trigger on the Apex. At this price point expectations are high. The jacket delivers. The leather is genuinely outstanding — thick, supple, with a hand feel that will only improve with age. Build quality is impeccable. My only slight reservation is that the sleeves could be marginally longer for those with longer arms. Otherwise, an exceptional piece that I reach for constantly.
